I took driving lessons with Sandra Gibbs. Sandra was very helpful in making me realise the mistakes I was making on lessons and always had out of box solution to tackle the problem. I passed on the within 6 weeks of restarting my lessons with her. I would highly recomment her for automatic lessons she is really committed to guiding and teaching her pupils to be safe and ready for test.

I have a bitter sweet experience with KLDT because it has taken so long and cost me a lot of money, just to find a good instructor. I was lucky enough to get Jan who is a great instructor and I feel so blessed to have had him teach me to drive. He is calm and patient. I lacked so much confidence! Jan was encouraging and helped me gain my abilities and self esteem. All KL Driver Training admin staff are friendly, helpful and understanding. I am really over the moon to have passed my test, first time!

You will meet fantastic instructors there. KL uses the “total driving “ app, and I can use it to learn about my progress and improvements very well. Jan was my instructor, and he was brilliant. He is Friendly and Knowledgeable. Jan trained me from the moment I knew nothing, and I passed the test today on the first attempt. He knew my weaknesses and efficiently analysed what I should improve on the mistakes I made. Thank you so much.

I couldn’t recommend KL Driver Training enough!They have gone above and beyond arranging the right instructor and scheduling my driving lessons and test dates.I passed my driving test on 15th July and I couldn’t have done it without Darren!Such a lovely person to get on with and a really great driving instructor. Darren is patient and really reassuring and helped me build my confidence. He is very understanding and flexible and extremely helpful with his feedback. Knowing I was not the type to pass on the 'one hour per week' format, I bought a 25 hour course (and added four more hours outside of that). That started around two weeks ago and I now have my driving license, and that is all due to my amazing instructor Joel Valmicky Fernandes.I went from an awful driver who tried to essentially kill him via vehicular manslaughter for four hours every day to a decent driver that's downright okay, enough so that I passed my test first time. He was eternally patient, thoroughly informative, and always made sure I understood exactly what we were about to do before we did it. Most importantly, he was kind and told great jokes. If anyone is reading this at KLDT, a bonus or pay rise for him is definitely in order.I would absolutely recommend him as an instructor for any level of ability, trust me, you couldn't have been worse than me. I am grateful to have had him and I'm sure the roads would be infinitely safer if he taught everyone. Thank you so much Joel, and everyone behind the scenes of KLDT.

I thoroughly recommend this driving school. Before learning with KLDT, I had tried other instructors over the years but never been successful in passing a test, so I had a lot of questions. From the first time I contacted them, the KLDT admin team were responsive, and answered all my questions. Payment was really easy and well documented, and the app makes it really simple to keep track of things.KLDT took care to match me with the right driving instructor, even going so far as to identify my learning style. My instructor, Joel was incredibly patient, explained things well and really took the time to make sure I understood the reasons behind the driving instructions; as well as being genuinely nice, you can tell that he really cares about what he does! Joel has succeeded where others have failed and after many years, I now finally have my driving license, so thank you!

I have a very good experience with KL Driver training school. My instructor was Prannoy. He is very nice & patient instructor. He makes sure that you understand everything. He listens and formulate a plan to overcome your shortcomings. He gives very good tips & tricks to pass exam. He helped me a lot with my references for parking.

This place good, I did 40+ hours of lessons & passed second time. I had one instructor for the first 40 hours, he was good but I did struggle to hear him well due to his accent & my deafness.But second one was clear & explained more for my struggles.

I passed my manual driving test at the beginning of April 2024. KL Driver Training Swindon throughout my learning experience was very supportive. They helped with finding and booking practical tests, and were quick to respond to my emails whenever I needed help. My instructor Darren was also very patient with me, he gave clear instructions, and also helped me remember safety drills for long term safe driving. KL driving is the best driving agency of Swindon. I lost all my hope for passing my driving test but KL driving and instructor Joel not and with all Joel’s tricks and predicted test route on test date anyone can pass. I truly recommend all who really need full license to solve their day to day commute problems and want to a good driver with command on driving basics , should be highly recommended.During my lessons and instructor car availability I always face problems but with KL driving this is never a problem, if your instructor is booked on that date time, KL driving will make sure you appear on the test with car availability from other instructor.I highly recommend Joel and Darren based on my experience.Finally to Joel and KL driving,I know Thanks is a very small word for what dedication you injected to write this story with happy ending, but thanks a lot for all your effort from core of my heart.Keep up the best support and all the best for all the learners.

KL Driver Training were absolutely amazing and got me a first time pass on my test. Kenny really went above and beyond to get me through, even squeezing in a lesson for me on his day off right before my test.I was unfortunately let down by my previous instructor close to my test but Kenny was happy to squeeze me in and get me ready on time.I suffer with bad anxiety but he was very patient and made me feel totally at ease, and made sure I was well prepared for my test.Couldn’t recommend them enough & thanks again to Kenny & the KL team for the support 🙂

I had my driving lessons with Joel from KL Driving school. Joel was very flexible with the lesson timings and goes out of his way to become available in case of urgencies.I felt very comfortable learning with him and he puts himself in your shoes to understand your problems. When I made any serious mistakes, he ensures I understand why I made that mistake and how I can avoid them in future. Overall, i would happily recommend Joel as your driving instructor.

Let’s start at the end of the saga…..After months of waiting for the hearing at Swindon magistrates court to take place (which did so this morning) the judge has just finished hearing the case KLDT brought against us for a supposedly non payment of £350 for lessons which were never received! (Fraudulent) The claimants case was rejected rather quickly by the judge and justice was served. Court case number is 432MC805 and should be available to any member of the public.Is the company in financial difficulty? Could this happen to you? Is it worth the risk choosing them when there are many other driving schools around?This has had a devastating effect on our 17 year old daughter who thinks somehow it is her fault the driving school were taking us to court. Would you want to risk this happening to your child? She has been worried about this court case for months and her mental health has been badly affected. She was even deliberately copied into emails which were sent by KLDT about this case which I specifically asked for her not be as she was a vulnerable minor. Her school worked also suffered because of this.Now let’s talk about the actual driving lessons. KLDT supposedly cover the area we are in which is south of Marlborough near Burbage, however the instructor did not know the area at all and instead would drive the 30 minutes to Swindon before the lesson began and then obviously 30 mins back. Surely this should not have been the case. Money wasted unnecessarily.Thankfully our daughter moved to another Swindon driving instructor and passed first time with just 1 minor and only 14 hours of lessons.My advice would be think very carefully before using this company. Yes many people have had a good experience but we sadly did not and there are better options available. Just don’t take the risk please. I wouldn’t wish our experience on anyone.Obviously KLDT will reply to this, however, please just look at the publicly available court case documents (or will be available at some point)which will verify that my account is 100% accurate

KL driving was awesome! I passed first time as a 25 year old with only 3 minors. They met my needs when I asked for a female instructor and Shuhana was such an amazing instructor, so kind & caring. Very patient and so lovely to work with. I also had Scott who was also super kind and patient. He chatted enough to put me at ease and respected any boundaries (i.e. if I couldn't chat when I felt I needed to concentrate more). I passed my driving test today. A massive thanks to my instructor, Joel, who has been amazing throughout.The way he explained things right from the very first lesson is commendable. Joel was quite observant for any faults at my end, no matter how small. He made sure that I’m made aware of them in a polite way, and also guided how I could best correct them. Hi, wanted to share this exciting news that I passed my test in the first attempt under Joel Valmiky's supervision. He is an excellent instructor understands the roads and will keep giving you tips where others make a mistake at every road. Would highly recommend him as an instructor if you choose KL. I completed 13hrs of classes including the test. He has been very kind enough to guide me when I made mistakes during my learning. Having patience as an instructor is very important and he definitely has a lot of patience.Just prior to tests keeping a track record from the past basis the time if the test and then to understand which routes you might get is something he is very good at. I was lucky enough to get the route which he trained me twice on the test day and just the day before. Not too many people would use this strategy and thinking. Getting to know the roads made it a lot more easier.Thanks so much Joel and KL

I passed my driving test after failing the first time. Duminda was very patient and encouraging. I couldn't pass my mock test because I became very anxious, which led to me making errors. He used a different technique, which allowed me to calmly carry out the manoeuvres. This led yo me passing my driving test. I would rate my instructor with two stars. During my several driving lessons, I noticed that he appeared drowsy, whether it was in the early morning or afternoon sessions. I paid for you to teach me how to drive and correct my bad driving habits, not for sleeping. Additionally, I felt that he was not fulfilling his responsibilities as an instructor, as he encouraged me to book more courses while not demonstrating a responsible approach to his job. These factors were quite disappointing to me.

I joined KL driving and my instructor was Prannoy. He has taught me the way that i have not experienced from other instructors. He is very helpful with the questions and always guided my driving with reference which helped me to remember my parkings, with roundabouts etc . My dissatisfaction primarily stems from interactions with two key individuals: , the customer advisor, and my driving instructor, . To begin, the customer advisor’s handling of a complaint I raised was unprofessional and disheartening. Her dismissive attitude and lack of empathy when addressing my concerns left me feeling unheard and disregarded as a customer seeking resolution. Equally concerning is my experience with my driving instructor, . Throughout the majority of my lessons, it became evident that was focusing on teaching me a singular aspect, seemingly with the intention of extending my learning process. This tactic, unfortunately, appeared more geared towards financial gain than effective instruction. When I voiced my concerns about this approach, my apprehensions were brushed aside, and no meaningful resolution was offered. Regrettably, this issue was further exacerbated when I approached your school for assistance. The offer to change my instructor for only the last two hours of my lessons felt like a mere token gesture and did not address the systematic problems that had persisted throughout my learning journey. Furthermore, the subsequent communication I received from the customer service advisor and my driving instructor was not only unprofessional but also dismissive. To be advised to wait for the instructor's response as both sides needed to be heard seemed inappropriate, particularly when considering the lack of professionalism demonstrated by both parties.Adding to my dismay, my driving instructor's claim that a skill demonstrated once equates to thorough teaching is not in line with the professional standards one would expect from a reputable driving school. Such an assertion raises doubts about the integrity of the instruction provided and further deepens my dissatisfaction.

Passed my driving test today (16th Aug 23) . KL driver training programme is well structured and the entire admin team is very efficient. The app is really useful in tracking individuals progress and feedback’s .Special mention to my driving instructor Mr. Joel Valmicky who has a huge part in my success. The best Driving Training service around. I had, in my opinion the best teacher, where I didn’t just learn from him, but also gained much more experience in the long run and actually formed a very nice bond with. Everything is explained in blocks with details and tips, the price of the lessons is exceptional, and the lessons are very detailed with a lot of hands-on practice, preparing you for the test. I have passed first time only with one or two minor faults thanks to my teacher Mr. Duminda, who not only was truthful and honest with me, but also wanted me to implement everything he taught me in the exam, which I did. Everything is all thanks to him.

I got recommendations from a friend about this driving school and all I can say it's worth 5+ stars!!! I was a complete beginner and after 28 hours of practising I passed my practical driving test first time! It depends on every person how quickly he/she is learning of course but I had super good instructor Joel who taught me every single thing and was very patient with me 🙂 highly recommend this driving school and my instructor Joel. Everything is well explained and shown. End of every lesson you review your lesson and prepare for next one on what you have to work more. They have application which is very useful contacting your instructor and marking your driving progress.

He is so kind and has a very gentle approach to teaching, as someone who suffers with anxiety he made me feel so comfortable and safe. Luis is very professional but you can also have a laugh with him! I really enjoyed my lessons and I will forever recommend him! Thank you Luis!

My driving instructor Joel was very friendly and patient. He helped me pass my test after 20h driving with him. He helped correct my mistakes and informed me very well on the expectations on the test. I passed my driving test on the second attempt. On the first attempt, my instructor left and I was given a new instructor and a new car 4 days before my test. Then between doing my first and second test my next instructor left and I was given a new instructor and a new car again. All three instructors were really good and helped me learn everything I needed to know about driving but obviously the changes did make my learning to drive a longer, more expensive and more stressful process getting used to very different cars. But a big thank you to Duminda who got me through my test today!☺️The app was also really useful in getting direct feedback and seeing my progress.

WOW, what can I say? I want to say a big thank you to KL Driver Training, particularly to instructor Chris for getting me to this stage. I had an unfortunate test result in August and chose to get behind the wheel again at the end of December. Chris was so helpful and supportive in helping me build my confidence again and get test ready!! I also had lessons previously with instructor Luke and he was also amazing. I’ve just passed today with 2 minors and I’m so so grateful.

My instructor was David and I can say I was very fortunate and blessed to have him as my instructor. He was very professional and patient with me. First of all THANK YOU to David, you have been amazing throughout, correcting all my mistakes patiently. Sometime I felt mad about my silly mistakes, but David explained every time calmly what I should be doing in that situation. David covered all types of roads in and around Swindon and manoeuvres. This made me confident about driving independently during the test. He is the best instructor I have seen. I am so happy with KL Driver Training. Do not have any complaints about this company. Easy to get lessons, app makes everything simple and the reflective log after every lesson makes you want to improve constantly. I cannot emphasise just how brilliant Sandra is, not only as a person but as a driving instructor too. She was welcoming, professional and informative. She made me feel comfortable and confident when I wasn’t. In the 26 hours it took for me to get that all important pass certificate, I felt like it was worthwhile. I strongly recommend KL driving. Instructor Marcelo is best in teaching how to drive a car and made me understand about the rules and regulations by constantly reminding me and correcting my mistakes with patience. 100% recommended!The KL school was very effective in creating a full lesson schedule for me based on my availability, they were so fast that it earned my respect immediately, and with just two weeks of training I was able to pass the exam. Kelly is the best driving instructor I could have asked for. She is brilliant at keeping me calm, explaining clearly rules and techniques and making sure she pushes me to work hard but that i am always comfortable. She went above and beyond by providing/making lots of extra materials for me to study at home, and was also very flexible with fitting me in around my own work hours. I can't fault her and will definitely recommend her to any friends wanting to take their test.

Started KL driving back in April as I wasn’t happy with the school I was with currently with at the time. Started learning automatic driving and my instructor was Sham and he was a professional and knew how to relay info clearly and was easy to understand at what he wanted me to do and I was confident on the roads. Unfortunately I didn’t pass my first test and Sham had left KL to become an independent instructor but KL were quick to find another instructor named David who helped get my confidence back after I failed my first test and few weeks after my first driving test I was lucky to get another test on the 9/12 and with Davids help I passed on my second test. Both Sham and David are both great instructors and they will get you where need to be in order to pass the driving test.

I had my lessons with Luke and I can strongly recommend him as a great Instructor. He will be hard with you at times but would want you to learn things the RIGHT way.Thanks to all his lessons and guidance passed first time with only 3 minors... so absolute Kudos to him.KL driving school agency were very helpful and always available and the app in itself is very useful in tracking/bookings etc

I'm very pleased with quality of the service which was provided by the company and especially with my driving instructor Scott Langham! He is a very professional instructor and also is very nice guy. He made me relaxed on our lessons, gave me very useful and easy tips and instructions, which were very helpful on the test. I couldn't pass my test before because of my confidence issues and being terrified of the exams in general, i tried different companies and instructors, but only Scott gave me the confidence and managed to calm me down so i finally passed! I'm very glad that I picked him and I think he's one of the the best instructors in our area. Definitely will recommend him and the company to anyone who wants to be a good driver!

I had Kenny as my driving instructor, he was absolutely amazing! Very clear and calm instructions and very good at helping you overcome any issues you do have. I did the refresher course, I chose to do mine in 2 2hr sessions in my own car. My instructor Luis Fernandez was brilliant throughout - he kept me calm and focussed, gave enough instruction but allowed me to make my own decisions on the road. He took me through all the areas I needed practice in and chose routes that would develop my skills the most. Highly highly recommended - KL were professional throughout and Luis was fantastic.

Horrible service my driving instructor had difficulty communicating,stopping the vehicle every 10 minutes to discuss the lesson plan so instead of 2 hours you would get 1:30. Even though I paid for a bulk package the school did not reimburse me for the driving test fee like initially promised and charged a 25 pounds admin fee ! You would be better off doing a driving simulator in virtual reality than learning from this school!

Great refresher course. My confidence on roundabouts is so much better and Kenny pointed out my bad habits which has improved my all-round awareness. I passed my practical test today after taking lessons from KL! My instructor was Shams and he was great teacher. He was really flexible and made adjustments to find and correct the weak areas in my driving. The lessons improved my confidence on the test routes as well. I really wanted to pass on my first try because I knew it would be impossible to book a retest due to COVID. After only a few weeks of regular lessons I was able to pass with no faults. I am extremely happy with this result and the service provided by KL and Shams.
